The Flat Spoon Tip is very similar in size and shape to the original small Spoon Tip. However, the Flat Spoon Tip has a very thin profile that's perfect for those who have limited lip control and/or difficulty removing food from a spoon.

When used with the Z-Vibe handle, the Flat Spoon Tip can help "wake up" the mouth, increase awareness, and provide stimulation to the lips, tongue, cheeks, and jaw. It is an ideal tool for any sensory mealtime treatment plan, and it may help tube-fed children to progress to their first solid foods.

Technical Information

The Flat Spoon Tip bowl measures approximately 3.5cm long and 2cm across the widest part.

The Flat Spoon Tip is available in two different options –

• Smooth – A raised rim around the edge of the bowl at the front, and completely flat and smooth on the reverse
• Textured - Ribbed lines inside the spoon bowl and gentle bumps on the back, to provide additional sensory input

ARK have recently changed the colour of the flat spoon from Turquoise to Teal. We still have stock of both colours, and you may receive a turquoise one.

This ARK Z-Vibe Tip is NOT a toy. It is a therapeutic tool intended to be used by a professional therapist (or by parents trained by their therapist). It contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard - direct adult supervision is required at all times. Z-Vibe Tips are made from medical grade materials that are FDA compliant - free from BPA, latex, lead, phthalates, and PVC. The oral tips can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in the top rack of a dishwasher.
