Autistic adult! Looked for something to replace (destructive) stimming with my hair, and this was perfect. Helps me think clearer and also super helpful for anxiety. Not as quiet as I would have liked, it makes a squeaky clacking sound but it's not too bad. The joins have a tendency to get stiff - be very *very* gentle when trying to unstick them, because they can and will snap if you're not. Twist or wiggle and gently pull, or try pressing them back together and twisting until smooth again.
