This Tangle Relax Therapy has small pieces that can be pulled apart and then clipped back together. Each section can be removed individually to make the tangle smaller if you would like to do this. For this reason, it is not suitable for children under 3 years old as these small parts can create a choking hazard.

Please also note that when in small pieces, the tangle toy is not broken - this is what it is meant to do. Also, if buying for a special needs child or adult, please check suitability before purchasing. You know your child or adult better than anyone else and what is or isn't suitable for them.

This is probably the best tangle that I have ordered from here. It's very quiet and firmer than some other tangles that have bought which makes it nicer to play with. I love the texture, however, it has a tendency to collect cat hair but it is easy to clean with an antibacterial wipe. I recently took this tangle on a trip, and played with it on the train. It really made me feel calm, and as an autistic woman has helped reduce the overwhelmingness and shutdowns that I have when out in public. It is also chewable.

Have one of these, which I love, bought this current one as a gift.

Bought this tangle as a gift for a disabled family member, I felt that they would benefit from fidget toys. I gave them a shot of my tangle and they loved it. So I got them one of their own. It has a smooth silicone texture, not sticky, with little bumps on each segment. We both love the texture and the fact that tangles don’t need concentration or skill to use. It’s just mindless fidgeting, which suits us both. It’s great for them to work their hands and build up some hand strength and coordination too. They also find it soothing to use. I would definitely recommend tangles in general, and especially this one. It’s both of our favourites.

Very calming and the bumps help too. Playing with it or having it wrapped around my hand let's me know my hands are there. Normally I am not aware of them. I use this instead of fiddling with my hair . It helps calm me down and ground me
