ARK's Guitar Pick Chew Necklace – Available in Three Colour-Coded Toughness Levels

ARK's Guitar Pick Necklace is a small, thin chewelry design. It is a very discreet option, ideal for older children and adults looking for something simple and flexible to chew on.

Please note – Due to how small this pendant is, even in XXT this is not a long-lasting chew option for moderate to avid chewing

You can use this chewelry as an oral aid, stim, or fidget toy to help calm, soothe and self-regulate thoughts during times of anxiety and stress. It is a safe alternative to chewing on pencils, fingers, knuckles, clothing etc. Chew tools are particularly useful for children and adults with Autism, ASD, SPD, ADHD or those who need a high level of sensory input.

Technical Information

Each Guitar Pick Pendant measures approximately 4cm tall, 3.5cm wide and 0.8cm thick. The breakaway cord is 36 inches (91cm) long but can be shortened by scooting the thread out of the clasp, retying the knot at a shorter length, and then trimming the excess thread. The pendant is available in three colour-coded toughness/density levels.

A note about choosing the correct toughness/density option

Standard - This is the softest level, recommended for mild chewers (those who do not generally chew through anything). It is also suitable for individuals with low oral tone, or those with limited jaw strength

Medium XT - This is the middle level, which is called XT ("Xtra Tough"). It's firmer, but still fairly chewy, recommended for moderate chewers

Very Firm XXT - This is the toughest level, which is called XXT ("Xtra Xtra Tough"). It still has some “chewability” to it, but it’s fairly rigid/pretty firm. No chew tool is indestructible, but this is usually the longest-lasting level for avid chewers.

Please note - This product is not a toy. The clasp and cord are not intended for chewing. Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, no chew tool is indestructible. Wear and tear may be expected given the nature of the intended use. While for some people a chew tool will last forever, for others with heavy/aggressive oral needs, they may go through it very quickly. This product contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard - recommended for ages 5 years and upwards. Please supervise at all times, regularly inspect the chew, and replace it if necessary when the item starts to show signs of wear and tear.
