The Solo Pencil Grip – Single Grip in a Variety of Colours

The Solo Grip is designed to aid correct pencil grip development. It encourages the fingers to form the tripod grasp, which is considered to be the most effective grasp for handwriting activities.

Benefits and Features of the Solo Grip include -

• Suitable for both right and left-handed users - place your thumb on the “L” or “R” as needed
• Firm, moulded plastic grip with ergonomic indentations, formed to hold the fingers and thumb in the correct position
• A larger version of the Stubbi (Mini) grip, allowing for more surface contact

• Helpful for individuals who need help with precise positioning of the thumb and fingers

• Suitable for individuals of all abilities, but especially those with Autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, dyspraxia, hypermobility, arthritis, and fine motor skills issues

Size – Overall length of grip 25mm

Please note – Pencil Grips are designed to be a snug fit, so that they do not move around once in place. A tiny amount of talc, Vaseline or vegetable oil may be required to “ease” the grip onto the pen or pencil. Pencil Grips fit standard pencils and pens. They do not fit large-barrelled, chunky or triangular pens or pencils. Not recommended for children under three years old as small parts may represent a choking hazard. Adult supervision is recommended. Pencils and pens are not included, they are for illustrative purposes only.
